Sentirse tan emocionado que se vuelve difícil hablar, normalmente por tristeza o felicidad.

Expresión informal. Se usa cuando alguien se emociona tanto que no puede hablar bien, especialmente al hablar en público o recordar algo importante. No se refiere a atragantarse físicamente.
