Definition

チャイブは、細長くて緑色のハーブで、やさしい玉ねぎのような風味があり、料理のトッピングや風味付けによく使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

英語では複数形 “chives” が普通です。サラダやスープ、卵料理、飾り付けに使われます。“青ねぎ”や“万能ねぎ”とは別です。
