Definition

何かに当たって跳ね返り、別の物にぶつかる動き。特にビリヤードなどのゲームで使われます。

主にビリヤードやテーブルゲームで使う用語。日常会話ではほとんど使わない表現です。「壁に跳ね返る(carom off the wall)」のような表現で出てきます。「バウンド(bounce)」より限定的。

Examples

The ball caromed off the wall and hit another ball.

In carom billiards, you must make the cue ball carom.
