非常にくだけた下品な表現で、人をだましたり印象付けたりするために、事実とは違うことや大げさなことを言ったという意味です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

非常にカジュアルで下品なので、親しい友人との会話以外で使ってはいけません。「bullshitted his way through」は「ごまかして切り抜けた」という意味で使われます。
