تعبير غير رسمي يُعبر عن تجاهل شخص أو أمر بسرعة وببرود. غالبًا يُستخدم في الحديث اليومي: 'She brushed him off'. يختلف عن 'brush up' (تحسين المهارة)، ويشير إلى عدم الاهتمام.
