誰かの耳のあたりを平手でたたくこと。軽い罰として使われ、今では古風な表現。

現代日本語では使われない古い表現で、文学や冗談めかした場面で見ることが多いです。「お仕置き」の意味合いが強いですが、実際の脅しではありません。
