うっかりや不注意で作業や課題を失敗したり、だめにしてしまうこと。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
カジュアルでやや否定的な表現。不注意や不器用な失敗を表す時によく使う。'botch a task' はやることを台無しにする意味。故意のミスには使わない。
