Responsabiliza alguém ou algo por uma falha ou erro. Dizer ou acreditar que uma pessoa ou coisa causou algo mau acontecer.

Pode ser verbo ('she blames him') ou substantivo ('take the blame'). Padrões comuns: 'blame someone for something,' 'blame something on someone,' 'be to blame' (= ser responsável). 'Don't blame me!' é uma frase defensiva muito comum. 'I don't blame you' significa 'entendo a tua reação.' O adjetivo 'blameless' significa inocente.
