用能量光束瞬間將某人或某物從一個地方傳送到另一個地方，特別在科幻小說中。

幾乎只在科幻或提到科幻作品（特別是《星艦奇航記》）時使用。偶爾用來開玩笑，表示“快帶我走”。常見語：'beam me up'。不是正式用語。
