Describe a un animal marino, barco u objeto que ha salido del agua y está atrapado en la playa o la orilla, sin poder regresar al agua.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa comúnmente para ballenas o barcos atrapados en tierra. Puede ser literal (animales/barcos) o figurado (persona que se siente atrapada). Común en noticias. No se usa para personas tomando sol en la playa.
