Un batboy es un joven que ayuda a un equipo de béisbol, generalmente entregando bates a los jugadores y recogiendo el equipo durante los partidos.

'Batboy' se utiliza específicamente en béisbol, especialmente en inglés estadounidense. Si el ayudante es mujer, se dice 'batgirl'. En español, también existe 'recogepalos' o 'batboy' (usado así). No se aplica fuera del contexto deportivo.
