Definition

巾木（はばき）は、部屋の壁と床の接合部を覆う細長い板で、壁の一番下に取り付けられています。

住宅の内装や掃除の話題で使います。多くは木製ですが、他の素材もあります。「巾木」と書いて「はばき」と読みます。
