Usage Notes (Chinese (Simplified))

通常以复数形式出现（the backstreets），指较小、人少的街道，多在老城区或较落后的区域。既可指实际街道，也可用作比喻，如非法活动发生在backstreets。不等同于alley（更窄的小巷）。常与'walk,' 'wander,' 'grew up in'等搭配。
