Describe un trabajo o actividad que es extremadamente difícil, agotador y cansador físicamente.

Principalmente se usa para trabajos físicos, pero también para cualquier tarea muy exigente. Se dice mucho 'backbreaking work' o 'backbreaking labor'. Es más intenso que 'hard work'.
