주로 공식적이거나 문어체 상황에서 쓰이며 일상 대화에는 드문 표현입니다. 뒤에는 대상이 자주 옴('awake to the risk'). 'become aware of'와 유사하지만, 좀 더 갑작스러운 깨달음 의미가 강함.
