Definition
Alguien o algo está anestesiado cuando una droga le impide sentir dolor, generalmente en procedimientos médicos. También puede referirse a estar insensible física o emocionalmente.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Uso principalmente médico y formal. Normalmente en pasiva ('was anesthetized'). Puede referirse a entumecimiento físico (literal) o emocional (figurado). No es común en español coloquial, salvo al hablar de cirugía.
