Bir şeyin toplamda belirli bir miktara veya sayıya ulaşmasını ifade eder. Genellikle resmi, finansal veya hukuki bağlamlarda kullanılır.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Genellikle 'to' ile 'amounting to 500 lira' örneğinde olduğu gibi kullanılır. Sadece toplamı veya sonucu belirtmekte kullanılır, tek başına fiil olarak kullanılmaz.
