Definition

相手を驚かせたり捕まえたりするために、隠れて待ち伏せをして突然現れること。軍事行動、狩り、スポーツなどで使われる表現です。

「待ち伏せすること」は軍事や狩猟、ゲームなどでよく使われます。単なる「攻撃」とは違い、必ずサプライズ要素があります。会話を不意打ちする場面でも使います。
