Definition

失读症是一种医学状况，指个人即使视力和书写能力正常，却无法阅读，通常由脑部受损引起。

“失读症”是正式医学用语，多由神经科医生使用。不要与“阅读障碍（dyslexia）”混淆，后者为先天性阅读困难。失读症一般由脑损伤或中风后获得。
