Definition

軽く震えたり、羽ばたくように動いたり、または緊張と興奮が入り混じった感情を表す言葉。詩的な表現でよく使われる。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

詩的・描写的な文で多く使われる。"hearts all aflutter"（胸が高鳴る）、"leaves set aflutter"（葉が揺れる）のような表現で使われる。実際の動きや感情の両方に使える。
