연락하다얻다 (무언가)

Definition

누군가에게 연락하거나 어떤 것을 (노력 끝에) 얻다. 주로 연락이 어렵거나 얻기 힘든 것을 말할 때 사용한다.

구어체에서 'get a hold of' 형태로 자주 사용. 사람과 연락하거나 구하기 힘든 것을 얻는 뜻. 실제로 '잡는다'는 의미 아님.

I can't hold of my friend on the phone.

전화로 친구와 **연락할 수 없어**.

Did you hold of those concert tickets?

콘서트 티켓 **구했어**?

It's hard to hold of good fresh bread here.
