Garantir ou resolver definitivamente algo, como uma vitória, ou segurar algo ou alguém com força, especialmente numa luta.

'Clinch' é muito utilizado em desporto ou negócios para expressar garantir algo ('clinch the title' = garantir o título). Em lutas significa agarrar firmemente. Não confundir com 'clench' (apertar com força).
