Garantir ou resolver definitivamente algo, como uma vitória, ou segurar algo ou alguém com força, especialmente em uma luta.

'Clinch' é usado muito em esportes ou negócios para dizer garantir algo ('clinch a vitória', garantir uma vitória). Em lutas, significa agarrar firme. Não confundir com 'clench' (apertar com força).
