Definition
何かをもう一度切って形を変えたり良くしたりすること。映画や映像を新しく編集し直す場合によく使います。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
主に映画や映像の分野（「ディレクターズカット」など）で使われます。日常会話ではあまり使いません。宝石などを物理的に切り直す場合にも使われます。
