어떤 문제나 상황을 결정하지 않고 미정·미해결 상태로 두는 것.

비공식적으로 많이 쓰이며, 중요한 결정이나 질문, 일정 등이 정해지지 않았을 때 쓴다. '계획을 미정으로 두다'와 유사.
