わざわざ～する

Definition

特に必要ではないのに、特別に手間や労力をかけて何かをすること。

普通は否定文（「わざわざしなくていい」など）で使われ、相手の努力をありがたく思う時や不要だと言いたい時に使う。'go to the trouble of ～'は「わざわざ〜する」という意味になる。やや丁寧でフレンドリーな場面で使われることが多い。

You don't need to go to the trouble; I can do it myself.
