The mizzen is the aft-most (rearmost) mast or the sail attached to it on a ship that has more than two masts, especially a sailing vessel.

'Mizzen' is mainly used in nautical and sailing contexts. On a three-masted ship, the mizzen is the last mast toward the back. Not to be confused with 'mainmast' (center mast) or 'foremast' (front mast). Sometimes also refers to the sail itself ('mizzen sail'). Rare in everyday conversation.
