তিন মাসের একটি সময়, সাধারণত বিদ্যালয়ের এক এক পর্ব বা গর্ভাবস্থার তিনটি ধাপ বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

'ত্রৈমাসিক' শিক্ষা ও চিকিৎসাশাস্ত্রে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়; দৈনন্দিন কথোপকথনে কম। স্কুল সেশনের জন্য 'সেমিস্টার'ও প্রচলিত। সবসময় তিন মাস বোঝায়।
