여러 가닥이 서로 뒤엉켜 정리하기 어려운 상태. 비유적으로는 상황이나 관계가 복잡하고 풀기 어려움을 뜻함.
Usage Notes (Korean)
'엉킨 머리', '엉킨 전선' 등 실제 꼬인 상태를 말할 때 사용. 'tangled relationship', 'tangled web of lies' 등 복잡한 상황에도 사용. 'get tangled up in'은 복잡한 일에 휘말리는 의미.
