サブプロット副筋

Definition

サブプロットは、物語・映画・劇などでメインの筋とは別に進行する二次的なストーリーです。通常、異なるキャラクターや出来事が関わります。

主に小説・映画・ドラマの話で使われます。“main plot”（主筋）と対比されることが多いです。数学での用法は稀ですので気にしないでください。

The movie has an interesting subplot about friendship.

その映画には友情についての面白い**サブプロット**がある。

One subplot follows a detective solving a mystery.

一つの**サブプロット**では探偵が謎を解決する話が描かれる。
