Definition
'Sit' ক্রিয়ার অতীতরূপ, অর্থাৎ কেউ আগের সময়ে কোনো স্থানে বসে ছিল বা বসেছিল।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
'sat down' মানে সরাসরি বসা; 'sat on the chair', 'sat next to me' এর মতো বাক্যে ব্যাবহৃত। 'set' (কিছু বসানো)-এর সাথে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
