何かを探すときに、引き出しやバッグなどの中を無造作にかき回して探すこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

日常会話で使われるカジュアルな表現。『rummage around in my bag』はバッグの中をごそごそ探すという意味。丁寧に探す時には使わない。
