테이프나 영상, 녹음을 이전 지점으로 되돌리는 것. 때로는 시간을 되돌아보는 의미로도 사용된다.

원래는 테이프에 사용되었으나, 요즘은 디지털 미디어 및 비유적으로도 사용됨. '영화를 되감다', '대화를 되감다'처럼 쓴다. 요청할 때 자주 쓰임: '되감아 줄래?'.
