Definition
Tener un olor intenso a algo, normalmente algo desagradable; también puede significar mostrar claramente una cualidad (a menudo negativa).
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Expresión informal y casi siempre negativa, se usa tanto para olores desagradables ('reek of cigarro') como para describir cualidades negativas muy evidentes ('reek of corrupción'). Siempre se acompaña de lo que se huele: 'reek of sudor', 'reek of alcohol'.
