अनार लाल या गुलाबी फल होते हैं जिनकी छिलका कठोर और अंदर कई रसीले दाने होते हैं। इनका स्वाद हल्का मीठा-खट्टा होता है और इन्हें ताजा या जूस में खाया जाता है।

'अनार' का बहुवचन है, जब दो या उससे अधिक फल हों। यह फल भूमध्यसागरीय, मध्य-पूर्वी और दक्षिण एशियाई व्यंजनों में आम है। 'गिरी' (बीज) भी खाने योग्य होते हैं।
