Principalmente informal; 'pitchman' se refiere a alguien persuasivo y enérgico, a menudo visto en infomerciales o ventas callejeras. No confundir con 'salesman' (más general); 'charlatán' suele tener tono negativo. 'Pitchman' se refiere usualmente a hombres; para mujeres raramente se ve 'pitchwoman'.
