Definition

운송 수단에서 물건을 내리거나 원하지 않는 일이나 책임을 다른 사람에게 떠넘기는 것.

비즈니스나 운송에서 실물(물건)을 내릴 때, 혹은 부담, 문제, 책임을 남에게 넘길 때 쓸 수 있다. 'offload responsibility'는 책임 회피의 뉘앙스가 있다.

They need help to offload the boxes from the truck.
