어떤 일을 매우 능숙하게 하거나 완전히 배우는 과정.

어려운 기술, 예를 들면 언어, 악기 등을 배울 때 주로 사용됨. 'mastering a language', 'mastering the basics'와 같이 자주 쓰임.
