空間や時間的に大きな距離があること。物理的にも比喩的にも使われる。

「far」は形容詞や副詞として頻繁に使われ、「far away」「as far as」「far better」などの表現がある。比喩的にも用いられ、「far from the truth」などがある。

The park is far from my house.
