৮০ সংখ্যা বা আনুমানিক সেই পরিমাণ বোঝায়। অষ্টাশির কাছাকাছি কোনো সংখ্যা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
'The eighties' বলতে ১৯৮০-৮৯ সাল বা কারো ৮০-৮৯ বছর বয়স বোঝাতে পারে। 'Eighty percent' মানে মোটামুটি বড় একটি অংশ বোঝানো হয়।
