'Badgered' é geralmente usado na voz passiva ('was badgered') para indicar alguém que é incomodado ou pressionado repetidamente. É negativo e indica persistência indesejada. Muito comum com 'about' ou 'into': 'badgered him about his homework.' Não tem ligação com o animal texugo.
