কেউ বিশ্বাস করে এমন দৃঢ়ভাবে প্রকাশিত মত বা কথা, যা প্রমাণিত নাও হতে পারে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'Assertion' সাধারণত আনুষ্ঠানিক বা একাডেমিক প্রসঙ্গে জোরালো দাবির অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়। প্রমাণ ছাড়াও এই শব্দটি ব্যবহৃত হতে পারে, যেমন 'unsupported assertions' বা 'make assertions about'। 'Assumptions' অর্থাৎ অনুমান থেকে আলাদা রাখুন।
