Definition

「ザッパー」はテレビなどのリモコンを指すくだけた言い方です。時には虫を殺す電撃殺虫器も意味します。

会話などカジュアルな場面で使う言葉です。「リモコン」はテレビに、「電撃殺虫器」は虫退治専用で使われます。フォーマルな場では使いません。

Pass me the zapper, I want to change the channel.
