Puxar alguém ou algo de forma brusca para cá e para lá; também significa manipular ou enganar alguém, fazendo a pessoa perder tempo.

Expressão informal usada de forma literal e figurada (enganar, enrolar alguém). Muito comum em inglês americano. Ouvimos “stop yanking me around” quando alguém quer que parem de ludibriá-lo.
