عدم القيام بشيء بسبب الخوف أو التوتر أو نقص الشجاعة؛ الانسحاب نتيجة الخوف.

تعبير غير رسمي جداً، غالباً يُستخدم بشيء من المزاح أو السخرية. يظهر في عبارات مثل 'don't wuss out'. يشبه 'chicken out' أو 'back out'. لا يُستخدم في المواقف الرسمية.
