Definition

鷦鷯是一種非常小、棕色的鳴禽，尾巴短且常翹起。牠以聲音宏亮和活潑的行為聞名。

鷦鷯不同於麻雀、知更鳥，專指這類尾巴翹起的小型鳴鳥。在臺灣和香港等地花園裡常見。不是家禽。重要特點是短尾且上翹。
