Definition
Discutió, peleó o luchó enérgicamente por algo, normalmente para llegar a un acuerdo. A veces también significa controlar o manejar animales difíciles.

Se usa sobre todo para discusiones largas o intensas (“wrangled over the details”). También puede referirse a controlar animales, especialmente en un contexto rural. Es más formal o literario que 'argued'.
