「wove」は「weave」の過去形です。糸などを交差させて布や物を作る、またはいくつかの要素を組み合わせて何かを作ることを表します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
「wove」は現在形では使われません。材料名（cotton、wool）、人（she wove a basket）、比喩表現（wove a story）などによく使われます。「woven」とは使い方が異なります。
