'Withdrawing' se usa mucho en contextos financieros ('withdrawing money'), pero también significa apartarse de un grupo o situación ('withdrawing from a class'). Es más formal que 'pulling out'. En psicología puede usarse para volverse menos sociable. No confundir con 'depositing' (ingresar dinero).
