Definition

「ホワイトアウト」は、紙のミスを消す修正液、またはすべてが真っ白になり視界不良になる激しい吹雪を指します。白で完全に覆い隠す動作にも使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

日常会話では修正液は「修正液」、猛吹雪は「ホワイトアウト」として使われます。「white-out」と「wipe out」は意味が違うので注意。
